The Tampa Bay Lightning will be officially launching their Bolts Social Central, a location for Lightning fans to interact digitally and socially, outside section 128 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Thursday, February 14 prior to their home game against the Washington Capitals.
To kick off Bolts Social Central, the Lightning are offering fans the chance to stop by the location and receive a free Valentine’s Day cupcake to promote the new area. The first 1,000 fans to show that they have checked into the game on the Lightning’s or Times Forum’s official Facebook page or on Foursquare will receive a complimentary cupcake. A member of the Lightning’s digital team will be taking photos of fans participating in the inaugural event.
Bolts Social Central will give Lightning fans attending home games a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow fans to discuss the team on several social platforms. Throughout the remainder of the 2012-13 regular season, members of the Lightning’s digital team will conduct exciting promotions to engage with Bolts fans socially and digitally.
