Rogers, Lightning Prospects Notch Overtime Win Over Wild
The Tampa Bay Lightning prosects improved to 2-1 at the Traverse City Prospect Tournament after recording a 3-2 overtime win over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night in Traverse City, Michigan.

Tampa Bay's 2004 first-round pick Andy Rogers tallied a power play goal in overtime to lift the Lightning to their second win of the tournament. Rogers' finished the game with a goal and an assist and has a goal and four assists in three games. Marek Kvapil, who scored two goals in the two previous games, added the winning assist. Goaltender Jonathan Boutin made 31 saves on 33 Wild shots.

Free agent invitee Maxime Boisclair opened the scoring for Tampa Bay with a second period power play goal from Adam Henrich and Rogers. Henrich has recorded a point in all three games and now has three goals and an assist. 2005 draft pick Radek Smolanek scored his second goal of the tournament from Blair Jones and Zybnek Hrdel to send the game to overtime. Jones now has four points in three games (2-2-4). The Lightning were outshot in the game, 33-31.

The Tampa Bay prospects will skate in their final game of the tournament Friday at 7:00 when they take on the Detoit Red Wings.
