LIGHTNING RECALL CENTER RYAN CRAIG & RIGHT WING DARREN REID FROM THE AHL\'S SPRINGFIELD FALCONS
The 2004 Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled center Ryan Craig and right wing Darren Reid from Springfield of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President & General Manager Jay Feaster.

Both players will be available to make their National Hockey League debuts tonight when the Lightning face the Detroit Red Wings at the St. Pete Times Forum (7:30 p.m., Sun Sports, WDAE AM 620).

Craig, 23, has skated in 28 games with the Falcons this season, tying for the team goal scoring lead at 12 while adding 10 assists. In his third professional season, Craig led the Falcons with 27 goals and 41 points in 2004-05.

A 6-foot-2, 220-pound native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Craig was selected in the eighth round, 255th overall, at the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He played five full seasons with Brandon of the Western Hockey League and was named the Canadian Hockey League's Humanitarian of the Year following the 2002-03 season.

Reid, 22, has recorded four goals and six assists in 21 games with Springfield in his second professional season. A 6-2, 205-pound native of Lac La Biche, Alberta, he recorded three goals and 19 assists in 56 games with the Falcons in 2004-05. Reid, who recorded 55 goals and 87 assists in three seasons with Medicine Hat of the Western Hockey League, was selected 256th overall by the Lightning at the 2002 NHL Entry draft, one pick after Craig was selected.
