LIGHTNING EXPAND RADIO NETWORK
PARTNERSHIP WITH SKYVIEW SATELLITE NETWORKS MAKES GAMES AVAILABLE TO STATIONS THROUGHOUT NORTHERN HALF OF FLORIDA

Through a new partnership with Skyview Satellite Networks of Scottsdale, AZ, the Tampa Bay Lightning will make all preseason and regular season games available via satellite to radio stations throughout the northern half of Florida. The agreement lasts through the 2008-09 season.

Lightning Radio is heard in the Tampa Bay area on the team's flagship station, WDAE-AM 620. Last season games were also carried on WHOO-AM 1080 in Orlando and WIXC-AM 1060 in Melbourne.

"We have been approached by radio stations throughout the state that are looking to add the excitement of Lightning hockey to their lineup," Lightning Director of Broadcasting and Programming Jason Dixon said. "Through our partnership with Skyview, we are able to expand the Lightning Radio Network while making it essentially a turn-key operation for the club, our advertisers, and our affiliates."

"Skyview Networks is very pleased that the Tampa Bay Lightning have chosen to employ not only our distribution services to automate and help expand its radio affiliate base but also to utilize our proprietary software systems for team inventory management and streamlined execution of the radio broadcast," Skyview Networks President Ken Thiele said. "The utilization of these systems will result in hundreds of man hours being saved every season by both the team and their affiliates, allowing them to hold onto more of their hard earned revenues."

Dave Mishkin handles play-by-play duties for all Lightning games, and for home games he is joined by Lightning Founder and Hall-of-Famer Phil Esposito, who provides color commentary. A list of Lightning Radio Network affiliates will be available on the team's web site, www.tampabaylightning.com.

Skyview Networks currently provides the radio network distribution to over 25 professional franchises, as well as four major universities. It also serves the state news network of California and Arizona. Founded in 1995, Skyview Networks is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and focused on providing radio networks solutions to major league sports. For more information visit www.skyviewsatellite.com.
