LIGHTNING REASSIGN NORM MILLEY TO SPRINGFIELD
CAMP ROSTER REDUCED TO 22 PRIOR TO FINAL PRESEASON GAME

The Tampa Bay Lightning reassigned left wing Norm Milley to Springfield of the American Hockey League today, Executive Vice President and General Manager Jay Feaster announced. The move reduces the Lightning's camp roster to 22.

Milley, a 6-foot, 195-pound native of Toronto, Ontario, appeared in four preseason game with the Lightning this season and scored one goal while dishing out two assists. Last season Milley, 26, played in 14 games with the Lightning and scored two goals while adding one assist.

Tampa Bay closes out its preseason schedule at Dallas tonight (8 p.m., AM 620 WDAE) before opening the regular season on October 5 at Atlanta (7 p.m., Sun Sports, AM 620 WDAE). The Lightning will open their 2006-07 home schedule on October 7 against the Boston Bruins (7:30 p.m., Sun Sports, AM 620 WDAE).
