ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC SCHOOL & CHURCH RAISES MORE THAN $25,000 OF TOTAL TO BE DONATED

The Lightning Foundation will present a check in the amount of $85,000 to the Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute during the first intermission of the Lightning vs. Ottawa Senators game on Sunday, Nov. 26th at the St. Pete Times Forum (5 p.m.).

Lightning and St. Pete Times Forum President Ron Campbell and Lightning Executive Vice President & General Manager Jay Feaster will present the check to Dr. Jack Pledger, Deputy Center Director at Moffitt Cancer Center, Dr. Brad Carter, Chief of Staff of the Don & Erica Wallace Breast Cancer Center, and Larry Feder, Vice President, Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation.

The Lightning Foundation raised the funds through various initiatives, including pink hat sales, the "Pledge for Saves" program, Moffitt chance drawings and pink stick auctions. St. Stephen Catholic School and Church in Riverview raised $26,491 of the $85,000 with a grass roots fundraiser at their school and church. Parishioners, students, teachers and parents all worked together to make this grass roots fundraising a huge success.
