LIGHTNING DROP FINAL GAME OF TRAVERSE CITY TOURNAMENT

Tampa Bay again showed its ability to battle back in a game at the Traverse City Prospect Tournament, but they fell to the Dallas Stars, 5-6, in a shootout in the final game of the tourney.

Mike Lundin, who will make his Lightning Training Camp debut on Thursday at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum, scored his first two goals of the tournament, including the tying goal in the third period which came with two seconds remaining.

Stanislav Lascek, Mitch Fadden and Dustin Collins also score for the Lightning. Riku Helenius, making his second consecutive start, made 15 saves. Radek Smolenak scored the lone goal in the shootout for Tampa Bay and led the team for the tournment with three goals and seven points.
