Lineup Announced For Preseason Opener vs. Dallas

Just got the roster for tomorrow night's preseason opener against the Dallas Stars at the St. Pete Times Forum.

The offensive lines entering the game will be - Andreas Karlsson-Brad Richards-Michel Ouellet; Ryan Craig-Chris Gratton-Jason Ward; Mathieu Darche-Blair Jones-Kyle Wanvig; Norm Milley-Craig MacDonald-Karl Stewart

The defense pairings - Shane O’Brien-Filip Kuba; Bryce Lampman-David Schneider; Mike Lundin-Jay Leach

Marc Denis and Karri Ramo will dress, though it's not known if they will split time.

Looks like Karlsson gets the first shot at impressing the Lightning brass on Richards' line, and Craig gets a chance on the third line with Gratton and Ward. The other two offensive lines are loaded with guys hoping to make an impression, so they'll have good reason to skate hard tommorrow night.

On defense, Kuba and O'Brien will be joined by four players anxious to open some eyes, so it should be a physical game by preseason standards.

In the final scrimmage today, Mathieu Darche's hat-trick in Team White's 3-0 victory was overshadowed by Andre Roy's scary injury. Andre skated into the corner of an open bench door and his backside took the brunt of the collision. He's being listed as day to day with a tailbone contusion.

Jan Hlavac didn't skate in the scrimmage as a precaution after taking a shot off his instep on Monday. He's still being evaluated.
