TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have activated center Ryan Craig off the Injured Reserve list and have assigned him to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League for conditioning, it was announced by Executive Vice President & General Manager Jay Feaster.

Craig is scheduled to play Wednesday and Friday for the Admirals before returning to the Lightning on Saturday in Washington. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound native of Abbotsford, British Columbia suffered a herniated disk in his back during the Lightning’s first preseason game on September 19 vs. Dallas and was placed on Injured Reserve.

Selected in the eighth round, 255th overall, at the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Craig has appeared in 120 games with the Lightning during the past two seasons, recording 29 goals, 55 points and 61 penalty minutes.
