TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING ANNOUNCES POST-GAME CONCERT SERIES
Bands Include Seether, 12 Stones, Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, and Submersed

After successful post-game concerts with Submersed and Gandalf Murphy earlier this year, the Tampa Bay Lightning announces a post-game concert series, beginning with next week’s Seether concert. The series is sponsored by 98Rock, Miller Lite, ReMax Action First Realty, and supported by MacDinton’s Irish Bar & Grill. The bands will take to the stage on the Chrysler-Jeep Plaza immediately following the games. All game tickets include the price of admission to the concert.

“We are very excited about this series and the bands that have committed to help bring our plaza to life”, said Sean Henry, COO of the Tampa Bay Lightning and St. Pete Times Forum. “We have chosen bands that we think are a good fit for our guests – and the outdoor plaza stage provides a unique setting to see a show,” he continued.

The series is scheduled as follows:

Wed. Nov. 21 – Tampa Bay Lightning v. New York Rangers – Post-Game Concert with Seether

Seether performs following the November 21 Lightning game. Their much anticipated third album Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces was just released on October 23rd. The first single off the album “Fake It” is currently #1 on the Billboards Mainstream Rock Charts. The music video for “Fake It” can be seen on YouTube or at www.Seether.com/FakeIt. The South African natives have accomplished so much since 2002 with the release of their U.S debut album Disclaimer. The album was certified gold when first released. Video

12 Stones performs following the December 8th Lightning game. After selling 500,000 copies of their first two albums (their self-titled debut and Potter’s Field) and touring relentlessly, 12 Stones decided it was time for a break from the road. The band packed up their gear and headed back to Mississippi and Louisiana. All of the guys are now fathers, and they spent a good deal of their time away from music with their families. 12 Stones has always thought of themselves as the “underdog” in the music business. They have hundreds of thousands of fans but they fought for each and every one of them. The band has yet to have a big, break-out radio hit at pop, but active rock has embraced their sound since the release of the debut. McCoy says the resolution to make the best of what you’ve got was only intensified during the 2005 hurricane season. All natives of the Gulf region, each member of the band felt the hardships of that fall. 12 Stones did not set out to write an album for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Still, the loss felt in their local neighborhoods had its obvious effects on the band members, and they were compelled to write about the recovery taking place around them. “Anthem for the Underdog” spells out 12 Stones’ philosophy for those working hard to get back on top.

The Crash Motive performs following the January 31 Lightning game –The band is a five-man outfit creating a refreshing and memorable sound, and is poised to explode into the national consciousness in much the same way it has in its native Delaware. That’s where local radio jumped all over “Waiting (Save Your Life)”, leading to its eventual inclusion on CBS’ Joan of Arcadia and in the blockbuster film Fantastic Four. Music supervisors across the entertainment spectrum have heard the natural fit of the band’s music. The tune “Not Giving Up” received the most visible placement as a featured cut on EA Sports Madden ’07. The band’s repertoire has also crossed in to the terrestrial world pre-release with dozens of sports complexes across the U.S. spinning their songs during live events for millions of fans.

Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams takes the stage following the February 23 Lightning game. Playing open mics and off-the-beaten path venues, they have managed to create quite a buzz in the Hudson Valley and are being hailed as 'the new legend of Sleepy Hollow' by fans and critics alike. The quirky quartet began touring throughout the northeast and rapidly developed a fiercely loyal, all-ages following. Featured recently in Relix Magazine, the New York Times and on the CBS hit show, Joan of Arcadia, the band's charismatic live performances and whimsical blend of folk, rock, hillbilly and pop have simply captivated audiences and critics alike.

Submersed performs following the game on March 29. The band is a guaranteed rare occurrence of good ‘ol Texas indie harmoniously colliding with rock & roll...and the result is simply an infinitely cool band playing the most undeniable, indelible rock & roll with a distinct sound that is truly their own. Submersed hailing from Stephenville, TX has released the new single “Better Think Again” on their new sophomore album, Immortal Verses on Wind-Up Records. These four high energy “country boys” are nothing short of the next big thing in today's new-edge of rock & roll.
