Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Martin St. Louis has been chosen to join linemate Vincent Lecavalier in representing the Eastern Conference at the 2008 NHL All-Star Game, the league announced today. The roster additions were selected by the NHL’s Hockey Operations Department, after consultation with League General Managers.

The game will be held at Philips Arena in Atlanta on Jan. 27 and will be St. Louis' fourth All-Star appearance, the most in Lightning history. He played in the 2003 game and was voted into the starting lineup by the fans in 2004. St. Louis also played in last year's match-up in Dallas, TX, where he notched the first All-Star goal in Lightning history.

This season, St. Louis is second in scoring on the Lightning with 51 points (17g, 34a). He played his 500th game with Tampa Bay on Jan. 8, ranking him fourth all-time for games played in franchise history.
