Well, last night was certainly an entertaining game for the Lightning, who were done in by special teams against the Rangers. Marty St. Louis scored a highlight-reel goal and Ryan Malone had a goal as well as a lengthy tilt against Aaron Voros, who took a little bit of a pounding from Mike Smith late in the game as well. All in all, it was a team-building experience for the Bolts, who outshot the Rangers and had tons of quality chances to change the outcome.

Yeah, losing stinks, but at least we went down fighting.

Today was a travel/practice day for the team, with a two-hour bus ride to Philadelphia followed by a team workout at the Wachovia Center. Only a few players went out for a quick skate.
