Tampa Bay Lightning Radio Introduces Mishkin's Big Moment of the Game Contest
Interactive Sweepstakes to Use Facebook and Twitter to Connect with Fans
The Tampa Bay Lightning Radio Network announced today that it has unveiled a new, interactive series of fan contests to be held during the broadcast of each Lightning game during the 2010-11 regular season. Each game, fans will have two chances to win autographed Lightning memorabilia by submitting answers to trivia questions to the Lightning Radio Network Facebook page and Dave Mishkin’s Twitter account.
The Lightning Radio Network will kick off the sweepstakes beginning with the Subway Pre-Game Report prior to the start of the 2010-11 season-opener on October 9 versus the Atlanta Thrashers. Each 30-minute segment will feature a game-related trivia question, in which fans may submit their answers to the Lightning Radio Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/Lightning.Radio. One lucky winner will be chosen at random from a collection of correct answers and will be announced during the game’s first intermission.
Additional chances to win great prizes will also be available during the action. Near the end of the third period, Mishkin will offer fans three potential “Big Moments” of the game to choose from. Fans may guess which moment Mishkin will select before submitting their answers through the Lightning Radio Network Facebook page or posting their entries to Mishkin’s Twitter account, @davemishkin. One winner will be selected at the conclusion of the game and announced during the Lightning post-game show.
Each month, the Lightning Radio Network will select one individual from the previous month’s winners to watch one period of a select Lightning home game live from the radio booth in the press box of the St. Pete Times Forum. All winners from both contests will be asked to allow 30 days to pass before entering either contest again.
