Lightning players Vincent Lecavalier, Mike Smith, Martin St. Louis, Ryan Malone, Victor Hedman, Teddy Purcell and Nate Thompson will be going ALL IN for charity by shaving their heads at this year’s event. Fans are encouraged to visit www.pcfcutforacure.org to place a general donation or to bid on the chance to shave the Lightning players’ heads by clicking on “Bid Now To Shave A Head.” The auction will close on Wednesday, April 6 at 9 p.m.
Each Lightning player has a minimum bid, but fans may also “Buy It Now” for $5,000. Each bidder will be entered into a chance drawing to win two tickets to one first-round Lightning home playoff game, while the lucky winner who places the highest bid will receive two tickets to Thursday’s ‘Cut For A Cure’ fundraiser, complimentary food and beverage at the event and two ‘Cut For A Cure’ hats.
