Bolts vs. Capitals Keys to the Game

Keys to the Game

Hi Bolts Nation! The Lightning find themselves in serious bounce-back mode tonight in Washington as they face the Caps, only the second meeting of the year. Here are some things to look for in our Sun Sports coverage:

KEY 1: PROTECT THE HOUSE
Don't look for a repeat of the wild 6-5 shootout loss in the previous meeting back in game three of the season. Coach Boucher was upset with his team's defense as a 5-man unit early last night vs. Carolina, and he'll be stressing that throughout the contest tonight. If the Bolts are to be successful they must tighten up.
KEY 2: A BETTER START
Any game plan goes out the window with a poor start and the Lightning can't afford another in this game.
KEY 3: YOUR BEST PLAYERS HAVE TO BE... YOU KNOW THE REST
Caps are 10-8-1 under Dale Hunter, have won five straight at home, and from Dwayne Roloson on out, the Bolts have to re-create the feeling they generated last year when Roly stunned them in the regular season and he and his mates knocked the Caps out in the playoff sweep.

Enjoy the game everyone!
