Lightning reassign forward Pierre-Cedric Labrie to Norfolk
Labrie, 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, has played in eight games with the Lightning this season, recording one assist and 10 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on January 7 at Montreal and recorded his first point January 21 at Phoenix. Labrie has appeared in 31 games for the Admirals this season, recording seven goals and 20 points with a plus-18 rating and 69 penalty minutes. Labrie leads the Admirals in plus/minus and is third for penalty minutes. He is tied for third in the AHL in plus/minus. In 95 games with Norfolk over the previous two seasons, Labrie has recorded 14 goals and 46 points with 217 penalty minutes.

An undrafted forward, Labrie was originally signed by the Vancouver Canucks on July 9, 2007. Vancouver traded him to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Yan Stastny on March 3, 2010. He was signed by the Lightning as a free agent on December 29, 2011.
