KEY 1: STAY STRONG, GARON Mathieu was sensational in key moments last night in Buffalo and will certainly be tested tonight. He has won the only back-to-back where he's played both ends, in late November versus the Panthers, so he can get the job done. He knows Malkin from his time with the Pens in '09. |

KEY 2: LIMIT #71 This will be tough to do. Malkin had 5 points yesterday, 5 vs. the Bolts in January. Lightning need the 5-man coverage in the D-zone they had last night to cool him down some. They were very sharp against the Sabres. |

KEY 3: STARS KEEP SHOOTING... AND SCORING Of course Dan Bylsma is just as worried about stopping Stammer, Vinnie and Marty. Stamkos, Downie and Purcell were terrific last night, with 4 of the 5 scoring points, 14 shots and a +6. |
