Bolts by the numbers: March 12 edition

Who's hot heading into this week:

1. RYAN MALONE
The Bolts forward heads into this week riding a six-game point streak (3G, 3A), which is his longest of the season. Malone also has goals in consecutive games and has lit the lamp in three of his past five outings.
2. TEDDY PURCELL
Purcell enters Tuesday’s game against Boston with points in 11 of his past 12 games, registering seven goals and 22 points over that stretch. As of Monday, Mar. 12, Purcell also led all NHL skaters with the most assists since Feb. 7, recording 20 in that span.
3. STEVEN STAMKOS
Stamkos has marked the score sheet in six of his past seven games with five goals and nine points in that span. As of Monday, Mar. 12, he led the NHL with 48 goals and ranked second in points with 82, just two back of league-leader Evgeni Malkin.
4. MARTIN ST. LOUIS
The Lightning’s veteran winger has points in seven of his past nine games, notching four goals and 10 points during that time. St. Louis also comes into this week ranked second among all NHL forwards in average ice time per game with 22:23, trailing only Ilya Kovalchuk.
5. TOM PYATT
Pyatt has recorded at least a point in all but two of his past five games, registering a goal and four points in that span. His recent success has helped him add to his career-high totals this season, as he now posts seven goals, six assists and 13 points this season.
