Tom Pyatt Has Nose for the Net, and Blue Paint
Tom Pyatt, player known most for his blue-collar contributions, was given the nickname Mr. Blue Paint. See where he has scored his 15 of his 17 goals.

Tom Pyatt, a third-line player known most for his blue-collar contributions, was given a nickname last season by head coach Guy Boucher that seems to appropriately fit the area of the ice in which he excels, and scores goals.

Mr. Blue Paint, as Boucher prefers to call him, has picked up right where he left off last season, and in the same place too, after recording a career year in 2011-12, his first with the Bolts.

Pyatt has made the patch of ice at the top of the crease his domain, where he has made a habit of cleaning up loose pucks and scoring what are known as the dirty goals.

Pyatt has five goals this season, including one off his face in the team's most recent game at Pittsburgh, affirming he has a nose for the net. Literally.

Mr. Blue Paint, though, in reality, continues to collect goals by "paying the price," as Boucher says, as he has recorded all but two of his tallies throughout his Lightning career from in and around the net.
