Lightning Radio Returns to Orlando
Lightning Games Can Now Be Heard on ESPN 580 (WDBO-AM)
TAMPA BAY – Hockey fans throughout central Florida can now hear Tampa Bay Lightning games loud and clear on Cox Media Group's ESPN 580 Orlando (WDBO-AM), as Lightning Radio returns after a two-year absence. ESPN 580 will air select 2013-14 regular season broadcasts over the airwaves, while all 82 games will air online at ESPNOrlando.com and through the TuneIn Radio app.
The station's coverage of Lightning hockey begins September 18 with the Lightning's preseason opener against the St. Louis Blues from the Amway Center in Orlando at 7 p.m. ESPN 580 will not only broadcast that game, they will also broadcast live from Amway Center from 4-6:30 p.m. Beginning September 9, ESPN 580 listeners can win exclusive VIP fan experiences to the game, while sister stations K 92.3 and Power 95.3 will also feature contests for tickets to the game.
