Prospect of the Week: Brian Hart
Lightning draft pick and current Harvard forward Brian Hart has been named the Bolts Prospect of the Week

Tampa Bay Lightning prospect and Harvard Crimson forward Brian Hart collected four points (three goals, one assist) through eight games played. Coming off the four-game point streak last month, Hart already has one helper in the first game of March to give Harvard the push it needs in the final games of the 2013-14 season.

The 6-foot-3, 212-pound right wing was drafted 53rd overall in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to attending Harvard, Hart skated for Phillips Exeter Academy of the United States Hockey League in New Hampshire, where he was the team's leading scorer during the 2010-11 season with 29 goals and 32 assists through 27 games played. In 2011-12 Hart donned an "A" on his sweater as Exeter's alternate captain and was second on the team in scoring with 68 points (32 goals, 36 assists) through 29 games.

Since joining the Crimson, Hart has quietly surfaced as an offensive asset. As a freshman, he amassed 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) in 30 games with one game-winning goal and two power-play goals.

The 20-year-old sophomore is currently tied for fifth on team in points and will look to open the postseason strong in a three-game road series at No. 6 Yale in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Men's Hockey Championship.
