TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning will honor 2014 Winter Paralympic sled hockey Gold Medalist, and Tampa native, Declan Farmer on Tuesday when they take on the Montreal Canadiens at 7:30 p.m. (Sun Sports, 970 WFLA). Farmer will participate in a ceremonial puck drop prior to the game and will sign autographs during the first intermission at Bolts Social Central, located at section 128. Farmer, 16 and a sophomore at Berkley Prep in Tampa, led Team USA for goals with seven and points with 12 in Sochi, Russia as they became the first team in Paralympic history to win back-to-back Gold Medals in sled hockey. He scored two goals in Team USA's 3-0 victory over rival Canada in the semi-finals to advance to the Gold Medal Game. It was the bilateral amputee's first appearance at the Paralympic Games.

Fans who would like to watch Tuesday's game with Farmer, and his Gold Medal, as well as a number of his Lightning Sled Hockey teammates from the North Party Suite, complete with food and beverage, can purchase a ticket for $75. That also includes a $25 donation to the Lightning Foundation to benefit the sled hockey program.
