Bolts Prospects: Drouin eliminated, Blujus still alive in OHL playoffs
Update on Bolts prospects Jonathan Drouin and Dylan Blujus, who are still playing in the OHL Playoffs
Jonathan Drouin

Jonathan Drouin’s season came to an end last week when he and the Halifax Mooseheads lost a game 7 to the Val-d’Ord Foreurs in the OHL semifinals. Drouin had one assist in the 3-2 loss. Although Drouin will not be skating again in this year’s post season, he is still a leader in several statistics categories thanks to his performance in 16 playoff games. Drouin leads all scorers in this year’s playoffs, with a total of 41 points to his name; the second highest scoring player has 30. Drouin is first in several other categories, including power play points (22), game winning goals (4), and short-handed goals (3).

Dylan Blujus

Dylan Blujus and the OHL’s North Bay Battalion have made their way to the OHL finals, and are three wins away from winning the J. Ross Robertson Cup, which is the trophy awarded to the top team in the OHL each year. The Battalion is currently down 2-1 in a best of seven series against the Guelph Storm, a team that lead the entire league in points (108) during the 2013-2014 regular season. Blujus has contributed to the Battalion’s success this post season, scoring three goals and recording eight assists in 19 games played. Blujus and his teammates will look to bounce back Wednesday on home ice after losing game 3 by a score of 4-3.
