Lightning executives players and coaches accept the ALS ice bucket challenge
The ice bucket challenge is pretty simple. Dump a bucket of ice water on your head and challenege three of your friends to do the same thing all in the name of ALS research. Celebrities such at Martha Stewart, Matt Lauer, Joanna Garcia and athletes from every league have joined in.
It's all in good fun to raise awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
Thursday Update: Lightning video coach Nigel Kirwan also joined in the fun.
Lightning CEO Tod Leiweke accepted the challenge from Cooper on Monday afternoon.
Stamkos accepted a challenge from Arizona Coyotes and former Lightning goalie Mike Smith. Stamkos then challenged Hedman.
Syracuse Crunch broadcaster Dan D'Uva then nominated Brown to join in the fun and he accepted.
Johnson accepted and now there's several other challenges waiting out there for other Lightning players.
Lightning prospect J.P. Cote challenged Cooper and of course he accepted with a little help from ThunderBug.
