Celebrating the 20th Anniversary through Art

The Tampa Bay Times Forum and the Tampa Bay Lightning are celebrating their 20th anniversary by displaying art from the local arts community. The Lightning unveiled 41 select art pieces chosen to adorn the walls of the Executive Suite Level at the Times Forum from nearly 300 submitted works of art. The pieces of art were juried by an unprecedented panel of judges deciding on the ones that would be honored and ultimately displayed. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our community’s vibrant artistic talent to the approximately 1.5 million visitors who visit the Times Forum annually.

All 41 art pieces selected to be displayed at the Forum are either Lightning or Tampa Bay area themed. The Top-10 voted on artwork pieces received cash prizes. World-renown artist and Florida resident, Derek Gores, also was contracted by the Lightning to generate two pieces of original artwork that will be shown-off at the Times Forum.
