In-Game Personalities

Public Address Announcer - Paul Porter

Paul Porter returns for his 20th season as the PA announcer for the Tampa Bay Lightning. A long-time radio presence in Tampa Bay, he is currently the morning update sports anchor for Talkradio
860 WGUL in Tampa. Area sports fans can also find Paul serving as the long-time in-arena voice for both the AFL's Tampa Bay Storm and the NBA's Orlando Magic.

Game-Night Emcee - Greg Wolf

Greg returns to the Lightning as our game-night emcee, his 5th season in the role. Prior to the 2012-13 season, Greg served as our in-bowl host in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons. Greg's energetic style will anchor our in-stand promotions and on-ice activities during intermission. Away from the Lightning, the busy Mr. Wolf serves as the Promotions Director at Tampa Bay's Sports Radio 620 WDAE and 970 WFLA, flagship station of the Lightning Radio Network. He also serves as our Tampa Bay Storm in-game host.

Hockey Reporter - Michelle Gingras

Michelle Gingras enters her second season as the Lightning's on-camera hockey reporter. Michelle provides daily video coverage for and takes part in a number of different events and activities at Amalie Arena. She is responsible for in-game reporting and event hosting.

The Tampa-native came to the Lightning from San Diego where she spent the last year as a multi-media sports reporter covering local college and professional sports. Her main focus was San Diego State Football and basketball as well as the San Diego Padres.

Music Man - Sean Bovelsky

Sean Bovelsky returns for his 17th consecutive season as the Lightning's music man behind the scenes, collecting and playing all the pre-recorded music you'll hear during a Bolts game. Sean also is the in-bowl music director for the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has also performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Organist - Krystof Srebakowski

Krystof Srebakowski returns for his third season as the Lightning's organist.

Born in Poland, the classically trained Krystoff hails from a long and diverse musical background, beginning at the age of five. He has performed with Regina Belle, Peabo Bryson, Beth Fowler, The Nelson Riddle Orchestra (the original Nat King Cole Band). He's also shared the stage with David Sanborn and Jim Stafford among others. Krysztof has recorded several albums, including his recent CD entitled "Dream Journey". A long time performer at Walt Disney World, he served as the band leader at Animal Kingdom's "Tarzan Rocks" show from 1999-2006.

Mascot - Thunderbug

ThunderBug has been the Lightning's official mascot since 1992 and can always be spotted having fun with our fans at Bolts home games. When he's not meeting & greeting fans on the plaza and roaming the stands & leading the crowd in cheers at hockey games, "Bug" can always be found representing the Lightning and bringing smiles to over 200 Bay Area community events annually – from charity events to school appearances, corporate shindigs to private parties, and everything in-between.

Lightning Girls

The Lightning Girls serve as the team's ambassadors, creating enthusiasm and support for the home team at a number of Lightning events and community events throughout the Bay Area all year long. On game nights, you can spot the Girls greeting fans at our main entrance pre-game, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, and of course, cheering along with our fans in the stands during the hockey contest.

Bolt Brigade

The Bolt Brigade is the Lightning's in-game interactive team. They help with on-ice contests and in-stand promotions, all-important t-shirt launches, pre-game staging and skating, and can be seen engaging with fans on the Plaza and selecting contest participants. The Bolt Brigade can also be found in the community at Lightning watch parties, parades, and many other events where a touch of energy is the call.
