JUNIOR CAREER: Had a 3-year career with Chicoutimi of the QMJHL that saw him capture nearly every available accolade Won Canadian Major Junior Goaltender of the Year honors in 1997 after finishing 22-15-2 with 4 shutouts and a league-leading 2.69 GAA Led his team to the QMJHL Finals and the Memorial Cup Tournament that season and earned QMJHL First Team All-Star and Canadian Major Junior First Team All-Star honors Posted a 62-45-7 record with a 3.09 GAA in 124 outings combined in his 3-year major junior career.
