GAME: Ottawa Senators (11-8-2-3) at Tampa Bay Lightning (11-5-4-1).
TIME: Thursday, 7 p.m. EST.Winless in a season-high five games, the Tampa Bay Lightning will try to get back on track as they host the Ottawa Senators.
Tampa Bay, which boasted a team-best 11-2-2-1 mark on Nov. 22, hasn't won since, going 0-3-2 in its last five, including Tuesday's 3-2 loss at Montreal.
Vincent Lecavalier ended a five-game scoreless streak by tying the game at 2-2 at 16:10 of the third period, but Jan Bulis beat Tampa Bay goalie Nikolai Khabibulin with the winning tally just over two minutes later.
"It's disappointing," Lightning center Brad Richards said. "We had our chances in the third again. It's just one of those things right now."
Tampa Bay has managed just five goals during the winless skid.
The Senators beat Florida 4-0 Wednesday as backup goalie Martin Prusek made 30 saves for his first career shutout. Zdeno Chara had a goal and two assists for Ottawa, which has won its last two with Prusek while starting goaling Patrick Lalime continues to recover from the flu.
Prusek has allowed just one goal in the two starts. He was in net when the Senators snapped Philadelphia's 12-game unbeaten streak with a 4-1 win on Monday.
"He's getting better and better from game to game," Chara said of Prusek. "He played really well against Philadelphia. He was making some unbelievable saves. When you're making saves, his confidence is getting better. You can see he's much more comfortable in the net."
Daniel Alfredsson also scored for the Senators, extending his points streak to seven games.
Ottawa has scored first in its last two contests after falling behind 1-0 in its previous 12 games.
