ST. LOUIS (AP) _ All of a sudden, the St. Louis Blues are scoring goals in bunches.
Doug Weight scored on a rebound at 1:06 of overtime to give the St. Louis Blues a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning for their first three-game winning streak since mid-December. They've totaled 11 goals in those three games.
Before that, they had scored only 17 goals in the previous 13 games, going 2-9-2. They've scored four goals in consecutive victories, reviving an offense that had foundered since Jan. 15 without scoring that many to throw the Blues to the fringes of the playoff picture.
``I think we're just re-establishing the building blocks we started the season with,'' coach Joel Quenneville said. ``We want to try to recapture the feeling we had, and we feel we're headed in the right direction.''
Of course, the first two victories came against the Coyotes and lowly Penguins, and now the Blues begin a five-game trip that starts Friday night in Detroit.
``We dug ourselves quite the hole, so three wins, no one's going to get on that plan with an ear-to-ear smile,'' Weight said. ``But we're feeling good about ourselves now.''
Drake helped set up Weight's third overtime goal of the season. The Blues, who also got goals from Christian Backman and Eric Boguniecki, hadn't won three in a row since they took six straight from Dec. 6-18.
Cory Stillman got his 18th goal and had an assist for the Lightning, who lost for the second time in 13 games (10-1-1-1) while playing the first game of a four-game trip. The only loss in regulation during that stretch was 2-1 at Washington on Feb. 3 and they've got at least a point in 19 of their last 21 games.
Stillman has 21 points in his last 14 games and had extra incentive against the team that traded him after last season.
``You always want to come back and show the team you played against that they miss you,'' Stillman said. ``It would have been great to have been the difference.''
Stillman wasn't surprised at Drake's play, even though the Blues forward has only 28 points.
``That's the way Dallas plays,'' Stillman said. ``He works hard every night and throws his body around and it doesn't matter who he's playing against or which game, Game 1 or Game 82.''
Weight scored for the second straight game after ending a 13-game goal drought, beating Nikolai Khabibulin from the right side of the net on the rebound of Eric Weinrich's slap shot. Drake began the play by passing the puck out to the point.
``It bounced to my backhand and I figure I threw about six of them into his pads, so I held it a second, took it to my forehand and was able to get it upstairs,'' Weight said. ``He's an amazing goaltender, but it went in.''
Those were the only shots of the extra period as the Blues won their NHL-high ninth overtime game of the season. They've won 10 in a row at home against the Lightning.
Khabibulin said he didn't get a clear look at Weinrich's shot.
``But I was there for the rebound, so I don't think it's that big of a deal that I didn't stop the next shot,'' Khabibulin said.
Boguniecki and Bryce Salvador scored third-period goals for the Blues. Pavel Kubina's 14th goal, coming only 1:13 after Salvador scored on a break-in, had tied it at 12:41.
